Oscarson’s Own Webmaster Called Him a “Traitor,” Said He MUST Be Voted Out!

(Team Hof) – The BIG news out of California’s June 5 primaries got little attention, but could bode well for our own campaign against tax-hiking RINO (Republican in Name Only) Nevada Assemblyman James “The Big Selloutski” Oscarson.

Recall elections are almost impossible in California.  Only five have ever succeeded; the last one being way back in 1995.  Yet taxpayers in Southern California appear to have done just that on Tuesday.

If early returns hold up, voters will have successfully ousted State Sen. Josh Newman and replaced him with former state Assemblywoman Ling Ling Chang, who was a Tax Pledge signer while in office, over Newman’s support last year for a gas tax hike despite state Democrats spending over $4 million trying to save his bacon.

Next Tuesday Nevada taxpayers in Assembly District 36 will have an opportunity to oust another big tax-hiker from our own state Legislature: The Big Selloutski!

Despite campaigning on a promise to oppose tax and fee hikes, “Lyin’ James” voted for 29 out of 32 proposed tax hikes, including the “Oscarson Commerce Tax” – the largest tax hike in Nevada history.

What makes this funny is that Oscarson’s own webmaster slammed the Oscarson Commerce Tax – before Oscarson started paying him to manage his campaign website!

On April 21, 2015 Brian Shoemake sent out an “URGENT ACTION NEEDED” email calling on people to oppose SB-252, the governor’s modified “margins tax” proposal which later was renamed, in an effort to fool voters, the “commerce tax.”

“Our progressive governor has betrayed the very people who supported him. Any legislator (traitor) in the State of Nevada who votes in favor of this bill must be voted out of office period. – Brian”

That “commerce tax” was eventually rolled into one big bill – along with making the “temporary” so-called “sunset” tax hikes, which were passed in 2009 and we were promised would expire in 2011, permanent.

It was a $1.4 BILLION tax hike that only passed after Oscarson rolled over, caved in, broke his word, and voted for it!

His Sunday afternoon change of heart on May 31, 2015 – after meeting with Gov. Brian Sandoval – gave the tax-hikers the final vote they needed to pass the bill.  (I wonder what he was promised?)

“It became painfully obvious that we would not be able to do justice to Nevada’s future without additional investment,” he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal at the time.

Don’t you love how he calls raising YOUR taxes an “investment”?  Typical swamp creature language.

The fact is, as Mr. Shoemake himself said, Assemblyman Oscarson is a “traitor” who “must be voted out of office period.”

YOU have the power to make that happen.  Only 1 in 5 District 36 voters are expected to get out and vote in this election.  BE ONE OF THEM.  And bring your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to the polls as well.

Vote HOF!

P.S.  Just as a reminder, Dennis Hof has SIGNED the Taxpayer Protection Pledge promising you that he will “oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes.”  So you can take that to the bank!
